These terms cover famula, at famula.ai, which Famula provides. To reach us, write to us at famula.ai/reach. Using famula means accepting what is on this page.
What you get
famula, running for you. You connect accounts, famula uses them to do work for you, and what it did is written down. What it collects while doing that, and how to destroy it, is the privacy policy.
Price
There is nothing to pay today. Paid service is not offered as of the date at the top of this page, and no card is taken to start. When there is a price it will be on this page before anyone is asked for it.
What you are responsible for
- Connect only accounts you are entitled to connect, and only where that account’s own terms allow something to act on your behalf.
- famula acts with the reach you give it. What it does with that reach is done in your name, and you answer for it as you would answer for your own actions.
- Do not use famula to break the law, to reach systems you have no right to reach, or to harm other people.
- Read what famula writes down. The record exists so that you can, and none of it is hidden from you.
Text messages
famula has a phone number of its own. It texts you, at the number you give it, about the work it is doing for you, and texts businesses you ask it to reach about the matter you asked about. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of using famula or of paying for anything.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts from famula’s number, and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile information and texting consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
What famula does not promise
famula is new and it will be wrong sometimes. It summarizes, and a summary is not a quotation. It acts, and an action can be the wrong action. It reads from sources that go dark without telling anyone. None of that is a surprise to us, and it should not be one to you.
So famula is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. It is not promised to be uninterrupted or free of faults.
Claims brought by someone else
If a third party brings a claim arising from your use of famula, from the accounts you connected, or from anything done in your name with the reach you granted, you will indemnify and hold harmless Famula and its affiliates against that claim and the reasonable costs of defending it. This does not apply to the extent the claim arises from our own wilful misconduct.
Ending it
You can delete everything at any time from your account screen, which ends these terms for you and destroys what the privacy policy lists. We can suspend or end an account at any time, including one being used to break the law or to harm someone, or one whose running cost has run away with itself.
What is owed if something goes wrong
To the fullest extent the law allows, Famula and its affiliates, officers and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue or lost data. Total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
The law that applies
The law of the State of Delaware governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any claim goes to the state or federal courts sitting in Delaware.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use famula after that is how you accept them. If you would rather not, deleting everything is one action and needs nobody’s help.
